Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home is seeking applicants for the following positions:
Position: Duties include nutrition assessment, patient and family education, computerized medical record documentation and related clinical responsibilities.
Requirements: Associate's degree and current CDR. Experience in foodservice supervision, hospital and /or long-term care preferred.
Status: Full-time 40-Hour position.
Position: To perform two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. Perform a variety of examinations including abdomen, OB/GYN , small parts and vascular procedures on patients from infants to geriatrics.
Requirements: AAS degree or equivalent experience. Must be registered by ARDMS. Preferred 2 years experience.
Status: Full time 40 hour position from 7:30AM – 4:00PM, "ON-CALL" required.
Description: Perform various chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, bacteriologic and other tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Organize and assess all work assignments to determine priorities, segregate test groups and analyze results. Perform complex laboratory tests according to written protocol. Analyze, interpret and evaluate the reliability of test results for which he/she is responsible. Exercise independent judgment in the conduct of the clinical laboratory with minimal supervision.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or with a major in one of the biological or physical sciences and one year of clinical laboratory experience.
Status: Full-time 40 hour 3rd shift; Part-time 32 hour, 2nd/3rd shift varied; every other weekend and holiday. Casual positions also available.

Description: Perform cardiopulmonary evaluations, respiratory therapy treatments, techniques and educate patients in their treatment. Must possess working knowledge of respiratory care equipment ECG equipment, medical terminology, etc.
Requirements: Four year high school diploma or equivalent Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent educational program. LICENSURE AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST BY THE NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT AND REGISTRATION BY THE NATIONAL BOARD FOR RESPIRATORY CARE REQUIRED. Possess one (1) year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (recent graduates will be considered) in an acute care setting.
Preferred: Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy. Possess 2 -3 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting - 6 months to 1 year home care setting.
Status: Full-time 40 hour day/evening shift Casual and per-diem positions available.
