What is HealthLink?

HealthLink is Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home's Wellness Education Center located in Johnstown. HealthLink's role is to increase community awareness and provide resources for those wishing to make positive, healthy lifestyle changes. Since opening in March 1989, HealthLink has seen more than 124,000 attendees at an average of 260 programs offered annually. Littauer launched HealthLink to bring into reality the Hospital's mission and philosophy to provide health maintenance and promotion services in addition to traditional acute care services.


A Professional Source For Wellness Education, Programs & Services

HealthLink offers free or low cost community education programs and screenings. Feature topics are chosen from community interests and needs, such as childbirth preparation, fitness, mind-body health, nutrition, parenting, smoking cessation and stress management. Topics include therapeutic/healing touch, acupuncture, relaxation, aromatherapy, mindfulness meditation, communication styles, humor and your health, heart disease prevention, controlling high blood pressure, diabetes awareness, cancer prevention, good nutrition, fitness, women's health issues, arthritis, Alzheimer's, organ donation, advance directives (living will), and more!
