Littauer Participates in Healthcare Rally
Albany...
Auxilians and staff from Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, along with Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce president Wally Hart, rallied in Albany on March 8 to protest Governor Pataki’s proposed hospital and nursing home cuts in the 2006-2007 budget.
"It is critical for the people in the communities we serve to realize that budget cuts will have serious implications for Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, as well as every other facility in the state," said Larry Kelly, Littauer’s president and CEO. "At Littauer alone, it is projected that we will see $642,000 less in budget cuts, with the Nursing Home suffering the most significant cuts."
