HealthLink Littauer Hosts 10th Annual Women’s Conference Gloversville…
Nathan Littauer Hospital's HealthLink is pleased to announce the 10th annual women’s wellness conference, "Images of a Woman". Scheduled for Monday, June 19, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown, the theme of this year’s conference is "Let’s Celebrate!"
"There is something for everyone to learn, no matter what your age may be. The conference is a great way to spend the evening with your mother, daughter, friend, or co-worker!" states Sue Cridland, RN, BSN, of HealthLink Littauer. "We are very privileged to have Margie Wood as our keynote speaker". Margie will be speaking on "She who laughs…LASTS!". We will explore the untapped power of laughter, and learn how it can help us as we seek to bring balance and happiness into our lives.
Margie Wood, M.S., has been a counselor, consultant and conference speaker in human resource development throughout the U.S., Canada, Panama, and Australia for the past 35 years. She is the founder of Unlimited Options, which offers counseling, consulting, and training to individuals and organizations. An enthusiastic and dynamic leader, Margie has offered programs for hospitals, schools, Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the humor-health connection, leadership, team building, stress reduction in the workplace, and management communication skills. She also has produced and hosted her own talk show on PBS. Margie claims to have learned the most about life from being married for 41 years to the same man and guiding three children to adulthood!
