Johnstown Hospital Foundation presents donation to Littauer

Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home recently received $10,450 from the Johnstown Hospital Foundation. The money will go towards the purchase of two non-invasive ventilators for use on the medical/surgical floors. Non-invasive ventilation is aimed at minimizing patient discomfort and ventilation-related disease. It is often used in cardiac or pulmonary disease patients.
"We appreciate the on-going commitment of the Johnstown Hospital Foundation in providing us with the funding for important medical equipment", states Larry Kelly, Littauer’s president/CEO. "Their help in providing Littauer with the latest equipment and services is beneficial to this community."
