Littauer Hosts 2nd Annual Community Health Day Gloversville....
Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home will host its 2nd Annual "Community Health Day" on August 28 from 9 a.m.- 1p.m. at Littauer's walking track. This fun filled day will include a dunking booth, a bouncy bounce, a live remote by WENT, the Butch Robertshaw Band, demonstrations and exhibits by the local police and fire departments, health and wellness information and much more.
"We had such a great response from our 'Community Health Day' last year that we decided to make it an annual event", states Sue Cridland, Director of Community Education HealthLink Littauer. "We kept all the things that people loved last year, like the dunking booth and the Med-flite helicopter, and added some new things, like the Butch Robertshaw band and the live remote by WENT."
"Another addition this year is the presenting of the "Littauer Cup" to the winners of the 8-week 'Community Walking Challenge', said Cridland. "This will take place at approximately 10:45 a.m." Admission is free. Tickets may be purchased for food and other activities on site. All proceeds will go towards the Nathan Littauer Foundation in support of the hospital. For more information about Littauer's Community Health Day, contact Amanda Rose at 773-5533.
