Littauer receives donation

Gloversville…

The Mayfield Youth Group recently donated $140 worth of videos to Littauer's video collection.

The Youth Group decided to purchase the tapes when a member's grandfather was recently in the hospital and had few options to occupy the long hours. They hope that having a bigger selection of tapes will help to provide a little relief at an often stressful time.

The Youth Group raised the money through the "Souper Bowl of Caring" program. This program was created to inspire and mobilize youth to transform "Souper Bowl" weekend into the country's largest weekend of giving and serving. The Youth Group took a portion of the money that they raised during this weekend and purchased videos for Littauer.

The Youth Group is led by Reverend Bonnie Orth with members from the Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church and the Mayfield United Methodist Church. They include: Emily Annunziata, Kristyn Barton, Matthew DiSanto-Rose, Maria DiSanto- Rose, Lindsay Bradt, Laken Bradt, Brittany Frank, Rebekah Haschytz, Andrew Haschytz, Justin DeMaria, Olivia Orth, Evan Orth, Amy Brower, Mitchell Brower, Lauryn Kaczor, Sierra Derby, Margo Derby, Sarah Elmendorf and Leigha Griffis.
