Littauer Opens Fifth Primary Care Center

Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home is pleased to announce the opening of their fifth primary/specialty care center at 1840 State Highway 10 in Caroga Lake. Beginning October 31, Allison Dwyer, family nurse practitioner and Amy Ellsworth, office coordinator, will staff the Caroga Lake Primary/Specialty Care Center.
Services offered at Caroga Lake include family medicine, women’s health services, and pediatrics. Lab services are available on site, and prescriptions dropped off before 9:30am will be ready the next working day. Access to other specialties when needed, include internal medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, urology and occupational health.
"We are excited about our newest primary/specialty care center," states Patrice McMahon, vice president of Primary Care Services. "We are committed to this community and being where there is a need for health services. We are ready and willing to provide a consistent healthcare environment for this community."
The Caroga Lake Primary/Specialty Care Center will be open for appointments; Monday- Friday from 9am-4pm, with lab and prescription services beginning at 8am. Most insurances accepted. For an appointment call 835-2341.
The Caroga Lake Primary /Specialty Care Center joins Littauer's other centers in Gloversville, Johnstown, Mayfield and Speculator. Littauer's primary/specialty care network is the eighth largest physician group in the Capital District with 31 providers. A sixth site, located in Perth-Broadalbin, will join Littauer's primary/specialty care network in 2006.
