Littauer Employees Donate Money for Children

Gloversville...

The Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home’s Courtesy Council recently held a basket raffle to raise money for Fulmont Community Action Agency’s "Warm the Children" program. Employees and departments throughout the Hospital and Nursing Home donated 19 baskets to be raffled off, raising $2,500 to help keep children in Fulton and Montgomery counties warm.

"It is a pleasure to work in a place where people are so giving and selfless," states Moshgan Jones, chair of Littauer’s Courtesy Council. "This fundraiser was completely employee driven and supported. I am so thankful to everyone who contributed to making this a success."

"Our employees, together with our Courtesy Council, have participated in the clothing program for over 7 years," states Larry Kelly, Littauer’s president and CEO. "By holding this basket raffle, we are able to raise money to go towards coats and winter clothes for the needy children in our area."

The Courtesy Council has been a part of Nathan Littauer Hospital for over 10 years, and is comprised of Littauer employees. Their mission is to promote and encourage a positive working atmosphere through communication and teamwork.
