Littauer Holds Symposium

Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home's Pastoral Care Department recently held an end-of-life symposium, "Bridging the Gap- Assuring Dignity, Choice and Peace". This program featured topics on advance directives, living wills, organ donation, hospice and other end-of-life issues and decisions.
"The end-of-life issues that people are faced with are so complex," explains Rev. Bonnie Orth, Littauer's pastoral care coordinator. "It is so important to be able to understand, become aware, and know the roles that people play during this time."
