HealthLink Littauer Nominated for Wellness Initiative

HealthLink Littauer was recently nominated for the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) 2006 Community Health Improvement Award. HANYS established this award to recognize its members' outstanding initiatives to improve health and well being of their communities.
"Since opening in 1989, HealthLink has offered over 4,500 free or low cost programs to more than 118,000 people," explains Sue Cridland, RN BSN, Littauer's director of community education. "Through partnerships with numerous local, state, and national agencies, the community has access to an array of programs, experts, and resources that you don't generally find in one place. With everything that HealthLink offers, it is gratifying to be nominated for this award."
