Littauer's Stowell Passes Boards Gloversville....
Terra Stowell, RDMS, RVT, RT(R), senior ultrasound tech at Nathan Littauer Hospital, recently passed her Fetal Echocardiography Boards. Fetal echocardiography is a very detailed test used to study the structure of a baby’s heart before birth. The test is done by a specialist in fetal echocardiography through use of an ultrasound. Prior to taking her boards, Terra trained with a specialist in Albany and also attended a three-day conference in Dallas. Terra is only one of 13 registered specialists in New York state.
"I love challenging myself and enhancing my skills," explains Stowell. "If I can bring something new and innovative into the community, I will."
