Littauer Adds Board Certified Internists to its Staff

The Nathan Littauer Primary/Specialty Care Center in Johnstown is pleased to welcome Dr. Bankim Pandya and Dr. Rakesh Sharma to the team. Both Dr. Pandya and Dr. Sharma are Board Certified in Internal Medicine. The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) is the U.S. Medical board that sets the standards and certifies the knowledge and skills of physicians who practice in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties.
"Becoming board certified ensures that our physicians have demonstrated their ability and commitment to the lifelong learning that is necessary to provide the high quality of medical care that all our patients deserve," explains Larry Kelly, Littauer's president and CEO.
Both Dr. Pandya and Dr. Sharma completed their U.S. residency training in internal medicine at Drexel University North Eastern Residency program in Eastern Pennsylvania.
They are accepting new patients at Littauer's Johnstown Primary Care Center located at 23 South Perry Street. Littauer's Primary/Specialty Care Centers accept most insurance. Call 736-1517 to make an appointment.
