Clinical Positions


Description: Organizes, conducts, and directs nursing care programs for all patients. Manages nursing functions on assigned shift in accordance with physician orders and facility policy. Supervises and evaluates entries in the medical record; ensures inventory standards for all medications and supplies. Acts as senior administrative officer, overseeing the security and continuation of operations in the event of an emergency.

Requires: A.A.S. in Nursing or equivalent education. Must be licensed as an RN by NYS Education Department. Two years prior experience as a Staff Nurse.

Status: PT 28 primarily nights, some evenings and q/o weekend/holiday rotation as well as Casual; as needed to help cover vacations, illnesses, holidays etc.



Description: The purpose of the Nursing Supervisor job is to coordinate the activities of the resident care units. The Nursing Supervisor assists the clinical coordinator in departmental staffing on a daily basis, maintains approved standards of resident care within the Department of Nursing talking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs, and the investigation, and resolution of complaints. The Nursing Supervisor has responsibility for the operation of the entire Nursing Home in the absence of Administration with the support of the designated Director of Nursing on call.Work is performed in accordance with established Nursing standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the hospital and nursing department.

Requires: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with Associate’s degree or diploma. Two years of medical/surgical experience or equivalent/ or two years of long term care nursing experience.

Prefers: Bachelor of Science/Nursing degree.

Status: PT 16 2:45pm – 11:15pm.



Description: Renders professional care diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as case-finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being.

Requires: High school diploma or equivalent education plus graduation from an approved School of Nursing with AAS or diploma in nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and ACLS.

Status: Med/Surg~FT 40 2:45pm – 11:15pm & PT 16 10:45 – 7:15am(2 openings); Pediatrics~PT 16 2:45pm – 11:15pm; Obstetrics~PT 16 2:45 – 11:15; ER~FT 40 10:45pm – 7:15am; Float Pool~FT 40 2:45pm – 11:15pm & FT 36 6:45pm – 7:15am / 12 hour shift position; Nursing Home: PT 16 6:45am – 3:15pm; Recovery Room: PT 16 10am – 6:30pm & must be in a 30 minute radius of hospital when on-call; Casual/As needed for Recovery Room, Med/Surg, & Peds.



Description: Renders nursing care to patients within an assigned unit under the clinical supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, and in accordance with hospital/nursing home policies and objectives. Performs a wide variety of patient care services for assigned patients.

Requires: HSD/GED plus graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse Program. Valid NYS Registration Licensed Practical Nurse. Three (3) months on-the-job training provided.

Description: Performs various patient care activities and related services under the guidance of an RN and in accordance with Hospital policies and objectives.  Takes and records patient vitals under clinical guidance of an RN. Cleans, prepares and stores equipment, stretchers, trays, and other supplies.  Prepares patients for examination by physician; assists patients with personal hygiene.  Transports patients as needed.  Applies bandages and splints under the supervision of an RN.

Requires: HSD/GED; 1 year working experience as a nurse assistant on a MED/SURG unit.

Status: Med/Surg~FT 40 10:45pm – 7:15am; PT 16 2:45pm – 11:15pm & PT 16 10:45pm – 7:15am.



Description: to perform various patient care activities and related services under the guidance of a Registered Professional Nurse and in accordance with Facility policies and objectives. Bathes and assists patients with personal hygiene. Takes and records patients temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure under the clinical guidance of a Registered Professional Nurse. Cleans, prepares and stores equipment trays and other supplies. Serves and collets patients’ food trays and provides between meal nourishments. Processes patients’ personal laundry.

Requires: New York State Certification as a Nurse Assistant

Status: Nursing Home~PT, casual and perdiem positions available all shifts.




Desciption: Performs general clerical duties by perparing, compiling, and maintaining patient and operational records in a nursing unit.  Perpares requisitions for materials and services required by the Unit.  Acts as a receptionist and processes messages for patients, staff, and physicians.

Requires: HSD/GED; knowledge of medical terminology; and possess previous health care/medical office experience.

Prefers: Computer literacy (35wpm), communication and time management skills.

Status: Med/Surg~PT 16 6:45am – 3:15pm & PT 16 10:45pm – 7:15am (2 openings)



Description: Coordinates daily activities of the site by performing administrative clerical duties and assist the Provider with patient care.

Requires: HSD/GED; One (1) year experience in a physician’s office or patient care setting ~ Pediatrics, Woman’s Health, Family Practice. Experience using MEDENT, MEDITECH, EMR systems. Ability/experience in vital signs, phlebotomy, & BLS certified. Ability/experience in HMO referrals, knowledgeable of insurances, and processing eligibility verifications. Experience using multi-phone lines. Position requires walking, standing for long periods, & sitting.

Prefers: Two (2) years experience in a physician’s office or patient care setting.

Status: Primary/Specialty Care Centers~PT 20 Every Saturday & Sunday with varied working hours


Description: Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community outreach activities and grant administration, including, but not limited to the Vitality Plus Senior Membership Program, community education initiatives, health screenings and worksite wellness initiatives.

Requires: Associated degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in medical Social Work or Health Education. Minimum of two (2) years professional & clinical experience working in a community setting. Excellent organizational and people skills. Valid driver’s license.

Prefers: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Medical Social Work or Health Education. Experience with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.

Status: HealthLink~PT 16 8:30am – 5:00pm varies




Description: Perfoms cardiopulmonary evaluations, respiratory therapy treatments, techniques, and educated patients in their treatments.

Requires: Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy/Certificate in Respiratory Technician. Possess a working knowledge of respiratory care equipment, ECG equipment, medical terminology, etc and 1yr experience as a Respiratory Therapist (recent grads will be considered) in an acute care setting. LICENSURE AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST BY THE NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT AND REGISTRATION BY THE NATIONAL BOARD FOR RESPIRATORY CARE REQUIRED.

Prefers: Posses two (2) to three (3) years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting – six (6) months to one (1) year home care setting.

Status: Hospital~FT 40 Days, varied hours/everyother weekend; as well as Casual/As Needed




Description: Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy to remediate disorders of speech, voice, and language in children and adults as prescribed by the referring physician taking into account the individual patient’s special physical and/or age related needs.

Requires:  Masters Degree in Speech & Language Pathology from an accredited college/university. NYS Speech & Language Pathology License.

Prefers:  At least 2yrs prior experience working in an acute care setting with experience in videofluroscopy.

Status: Hospital/Nursing Home~PT 24 shift varies




Description:  To evaluate and develop patient care plans and administer or direct the administration of physical agents and procedures utilized in rehabilitative medicine as prescribed by the referring physician.

Requires: BS degree in Physical Therapy and New York State licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Prefers: One year prior experience.  MediTech (computer scheduling)

Status:  Casual/as needed willling to work the occasional Saturday and/or Sunday shift.

Description: To operate Spiral CT imaging systems to produce quality cross-sectional anatomical images.

Requires: HSD/GED and 2 year accredited school for Radiologic Technology.  Licensced by the NYS DOH and ARRT Certificiation. Posses 1 yr experience in CT.

Perfers: Computerized Tomography Certification

Status: Casual; as needed weekends




Description: To assist the Radiologist and perform examinations on patients using radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs.

Requires:  HSD or GED; Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.

Perfers:  One year prior experience.

Status:  Casual position to work on an as needed basis.




Description:Performs various chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, bacteriologic and other tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Organizes and assesses all work assignments to determine priorities, to segregate test groups and to analyze results. Performs complex laboratory tests according to written protocol. Analyzes, interprets and evaluates the reliability of test results for which he/she is responsible. Exercises independent judgment in the conduct of the clinical laboratory with minimal supervision.

Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or with a major in one of the biological or physical sciences and one year of clinical laboratory experience.

Status: Hosptial~FT 40 varied 2nd & 3rd shifts, everyother weekend, with rotating Holiday & Overtime shifts.




Description:To implement the Nursing Facility’s Occupation Therapy programs and services under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational Therapist, in accordance with policies and procedures and within the scope of practice of a COTA.

Requires: Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapists. Applicants must possess a working knowledge of NYS and federal codes pertaining to the age of the residents and patients served, knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span.

Status: Casual position to work on an as needed basis or experience with Meditech EHR information systems a plus
