NURING SUPERVISOR – HOSPITAL
Description: Organizes, conducts, and directs nursing care programs for all patients. Manages nursing functions on assigned shift in accordance with physician orders and facility policy. Supervises and evaluates entries in the medical record; ensures inventory standards for all medications and supplies. Acts as senior administrative officer, overseeing the security and continuation of operations in the event of an emergency.
Required: A.A.S. in Nursing or equivalent education. Must be licensed as an RN by NYS Education Department. Two years prior experience as a Staff Nurse.

NURING SUPERVISOR – NURSING HOME
Description: The purpose of the Nursing Supervisor job is to coordinate the activities of the resident care units. The Nursing Supervisor assists the clinical coordinator in departmental staffing on a daily basis, maintains approved standards of resident care within the Department of Nursing talking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs, and the investigation, and resolution of complaints. The Nursing Supervisor has responsibility for the operation of the entire Nursing Home in the absence of Administration with the support of the designated Director of Nursing on call.Work is performed in accordance with established Nursing standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the hospital and nursing department.
Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with Associate’s degree or diploma.Two years of medical/surgical experience or equivalent/ or two years of long term care nursing experience.
Prefer: Bachelor of Science/Nursing degree.
Status: Part time 16 hours/week, 2:45pm – 11:15pm. Two years nursing management experience in a skilled Nursing Facility.
REGISTERED/CERTIFIED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
Description: Perform cardiopulmonary evaluations, respiratory therapy treatments, techniques and educates patients in their treatment.
Required: Working knowledge of respiratory care equipment, ECG equipment and medical terminology. Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy. One year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (recent graduates will be considered).
Status: Casual/As needed
Description: To evaluate and develop patient care plans and administer or direct the administration of physical agents and procedures utilized in rehabilitative medicine as prescribed by the referring physician.
Required: BS degree in Physical Therapy and New York State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Preferred: One year prior experience. MediTech (computer scheduling)
Status: Casual/As needed: willing to work the occasional Saturday and/or Sunday shifts
Description: Performs and assists with electrocardiograms, stress tests, LCG 24-hour Holter Monitors, and Electroencephalograms. Reviews recording for quality and clarity. Types and copies all reports and distributes them to the proper departments and files them. Maintains ECG department equipment, supplies, and reports problems to the supervisor. Assists in scheduling tests.
Required: HSD or GED; EKG & Direct patient care experience, AHA/BLS.
Perferred: One year prior experience in EKG.

Description: To assist the Radiologist and perform examinations on patients using radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs.
Required: HSD or GED; Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.

NEW YORK STATE REGISTERED NURSE – Pediatrics
Description: Renders professional care diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as case-finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being to prediatric patients.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent education plus graduation from an approved School of Nursing with AAS or diploma in nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and ACLS, BLS, and PALS. As well as 6 months to 1 year of post-graduation nursing experience.
Status: Full Time 40 hrs 2:45pm – 11:15pm.
NEW YORK STATE REGISTERED NURSE – Emergency Care Center
Description: Renders professional care diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as casefinding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well being.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent education plus graduation from an approved School of Nursing with AAS or diploma in nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and ACLS. One year experience in Medical /Surgical Nursing.
Prefered: One year experience in Emergency Care Nursing.
Status: Full Time 40 hrs 10:45pm – 7:15am.
NEW YORK STATE REGISTERED NURSE – Med/Surg

Required: High school diploma or equivalent education plus graduation from an approved School of Nursing with AAS or diploma in nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and ACLS.

NEW YORK STATE REGISTERED NURSE – Recovery Room
Description: The Recovery Room staff nurse is a professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame in order to provide care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment / instrumentation, and coordination with other health care team members.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent education plus graduation from an approved School of Nursing with AAS, BSN, or diploma in nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and current BLS & ACLS certification as well as current med test. One year Med/Surg, previous experience in peri-operative nursing care and/or SCU nursing care. Must live within 20 minutes of hospital for call. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Prefered: Previous experience in Pre and Post anesthesia care; previous experience in critical nursing care.
Status: Part Time 16 hrs 6:45am – 3:15pm.
CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT/ NURSING FACILITY
Description: to perform various patient care activities and related services under the guidance of a Registered Professional Nurse and in accordance with Facility policies and objectives. Bathes and assists patients with personal hygiene. Takes and records patients temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure under the clinical guidance of a Registered Professional Nurse. Cleans, prepares and stores equipment trays and other supplies. Serves and collets patients’ food trays and provides between meal nourishments. Processes patients’ personal laundry.
Required: New York State Certification as a Nurse Assistant

CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST
Description:Performs various chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, bacteriologic and other tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Organizes and assesses all work assignments to determine priorities, to segregate test groups and to analyze results. Performs complex laboratory tests according to written protocol. Analyzes, interprets and evaluates the reliability of test results for which he/she is responsible. Exercises independent judgment in the conduct of the clinical laboratory with minimal supervision.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or with a major in one of the biological or physical sciences and one year of clinical laboratory experience.
Status: Full Time 40 hours/week, varied 2nd & 3rd shifts, everyother weekend, with rotating Holiday & Overtime shifts.
Description: Obtains blood samples from patients for laboratory analysis using accepted clinical methods, including venipuncture and micro collection.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent and one month prior experience with drawing of blood samples.

CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT
Description:To implement the Nursing Facility’s Occupation Therapy programs and services under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational Therapist, in accordance with policies and procedures and within the scope of practice of a COTA.
Required: Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapists. Applicants must possess a working knowledge of NYS and federal codes pertaining to the age of the residents and patients served, knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span.
Status: Casual position to work on an as needed basis or experience with Meditech EHR information systems a plus
