HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS ANALYST
Description: Maintain, update, & support applications, modules, & programs related to the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring the integrity of the legal record. Trains, monitors, & coordinates all staff in the processes of the Electronic Legal Record (ELR) & EHR.
Required: Associates degree in Health Information, Information technology, computer science or health related field and college level medical terminology with 2yrs healthcare exp in similar capacity. Must have strong communication, organizational, computer and technical skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, & Access. Exp with Meditech or Dolbey a plus.
Status: Full Time 40; Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
CODING SPECIALIST – PRIMARY/SPECIALTY CARE CENTERS
Description: Codes & enters into MEDENT/surgical records utilizing proper assignment of ICD-9-CM, CPT-4 & modifiers.
Required: HSD/GED, successful completion of Anatomy/Physiology course, medical terminology & ICD-9-CM/CPT-4 coding. Min 1 yr exp in a medical office setting if CPC credentialed; 3 yrs if not CPC credentialed.
Status: Full-time 40hrs / 8am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
MAINTENANCE – PRIMARY CARE CENTERS
Description: Maintains and cares for lawns, gardens, sidewalks, driveways and other outdoor areas throughout various Primary Care sites. Work inside PCC sites repairing and maintaining doors, windows, walls and other structural parts of buildings. Will work long and odd hours during winter months removing snow and salting parking and walkway areas at various PCC sites.
Required: High School diploma or equivalent education. Two-year level of experience in commercial, institutional or industrial plant maintenance. Demonstrated mechanical/electrical ability. Possess a working knowledge of National Fire Protection Association life safety order, New York State fire and prevention codes.
Preferred: Five-year level of experience in health care plant maintenance with an understanding of carpentry, mechanical and electrical methods and techniques.
Status: Part time 16 hour, varies
HIM DATA QUALITY SPECIALIST/LEAD CODER
Description: Oversees coding staff, code and abstract inpatient/outpatient records utilizing the proper assignment or ICD-9CM and CPT-4 coding. Monitors unbilled reports and quality of documentation. Trains coders and implements new procedures. Trains and works with physicians and others as needed.
Required: HSD plus RHIA, RHIT or CCS professional designation. Strong computer skills, a minimum of 2 yrs. exp ICD-9CM and CPT-4 hospital coding. Must have 1yr of supervisory exp.
Preferred: A minimum of 5 years experience years ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 hospital coding. 5 years supervisory experience
Status: Full time 40 hour position from 8am -4:30pm, Monday- Friday.
