ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR
Description: Process and pay all invoices for goods and services rendered to the Hospital/Nursing Home.
Required: 3 years prior experience in Accounts Payable. AAS Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience or a two year BusinessSchool degree. Good organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work with and communicate well with all levels of the organization, and posses a high degree of confidentiality.
Status: Full Time 40; Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
VICE PRESIDENT OF PATIENT CARE SERVICES AND CHIEF NURSING OFFICER (CNO)
Description: Responsible for establishing and executing the vision and strategic plan for Patient Care Services. This includes developing organization-wide evidence-based patient care standards, policies and procedures that determine how patients’ needs are assessed, evaluated, and met. Works in collaboration with the Board of Directors, Management, Medical Staff and Clinical Leaders to optimize the quality of care and patient satisfaction.
Required: Minimum of 5 years of management experience in acute care hospital operations. Must have a BSN degree from an accredited Program of Professional Nursing. Must be a team player and critical thinker with strong communication and decision making skills who is able to help our hospital continually improve and succeed.
Preferred: MSN or MHA

CODING SPECIALIST – PRIMARY/SPECIALTY CARE CENTERS
Description: Code and enter into MEDENT records utilizing proper assignment of ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding, as well as surgical inpatient and outpatient records with the correct ICD-9, CPT, and modifiers.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of courses in Anatomy/Physiology, medical terminology, and ICD-9-CM/CPT coding. Minimum of 3 years experience in a medical office setting if not RHIA, RHIT, or CCS credentialed. 1 year experienced in a medical office setting if RHIA, RHIT, or CSS credentialed.
Status: Full-time 40hrs / 8am – 4:30pm Monday - Friday
Description: Interveiws incoming patients or representatives, collects and records data required for admissions, assigns rooms based on department procdure. Explains admitting procedures and information about available hospital services, maintains a current and accurate bed/board status. Interviews all outpatients, collects and records data required to process patient account documents and issues charge slips for services to be performed. Receives and accounts for cash payments from outpatients.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to type 35 words per minute, & one (1) year general office experience. A high degree of maturity, confidentiality, knowledge of medical terminology and ability to handle individuals in a crisis situation is desired. ~ One month of on-the-job-training is provided.
Part-time 20hrs / shift ~ 2:30pm – 11:00pm Sat & Sun & 3:00pm – 7:00pm Mon.
Part-time 16/ shift ~ 6:00am – 2:30pm Sat & Sun.

Description: Operates the switchboard/telephone/paging system for hospital and nursing home; maintains information files on patients; controls issuance of keys; handles patient mail; provides typing and clerical support for the Business Office; and provides coverage for the cashier.

MAINTENANCE – PRIMARY CARE CENTERS
Description: Maintains and cares for lawns, gardens, sidewalks, driveways and other outdoor areas throughout various Primary Care sites. Work inside PCC sites repairing and maintaining doors, windows, walls and other structural parts of buildings. Will work long and odd hours during winter months removing snow and salting parking and walkway areas at various PCC sites.
Required: High School diploma or equivalent education. Two-year level of experience in commercial, institutional or industrial plant maintenance. Demonstrated mechanical/electrical ability. Possess a working knowledge of National Fire Protection Association life safety order, New York State fire and prevention codes.
Preferred: Five-year level of experience in health care plant maintenance with an understanding of carpentry, mechanical and electrical methods and techniques.
Status: Part time 16 hour, varies
HIM DATA QUALITY SPECIALIST/LEAD CODER
Description: To oversee the coding staff, code and abstract in patient and out patient records utilizing the proper assignment of ICD-9CM and CPT4 coding. Monitors unbilled reports and quality of documentation. Trains coders and implements new procedures dealing with coding and quality. Trans and works with physicians and other departments as necessary
Required: High school diploma plus RHIA, RHIT or CCS professional designation. Strong computer skills, Minimum of 2 years experience ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 hospital coding.1 year of supervisory experience.
Preferred: A minimum of 5 years experience years ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 hospital coding. 5 years supervisory experience
Status: Full time 40 hour position from 8am -4:30pm, Monday- Friday.
