Description:  The purpose of this job is to perform all aspects of patient intake.  Accurately gather insurance, demographic and diagnostic information for the proper methodology of billing. 


  • Possess a High School diploma or GED.
  • Prefer one (1) or two (2) years college with completion of an approved program in medical terminology.
  • Possess one (1) or two (2) years experience in a health care related field.  Must have exceptional public relation skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of third party payors.

Status:  2:30pm – 11:00pm Saturday & Sunday, 3:00pm – 7:00pm Monday (20 hours)



Description:  Responsible for the daily operations of Respiratory Therapy, Sleep Disorders (PSG), Electrocardiography (ECG), Electroencephalography (EEG), Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and Pulmonary Function Lab.  Evaluates quality of service provided by participating in the monitoring of QA/QI initiatives, equipment maintenance and replacement, staffing, patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, customer service and financial success. 


  • Graduation from an accredited two (2) year program in Respiratory Therapy and registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management.
  • Possess current NYS Respiratory Therapist license and current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Requires five (5) years of prior experience as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care.  Additional experience in Homecare and/or Long-Term rehabilitation would be considered.  Prior management experience is preferred.

Status:  7:00am – 3:30pm (40 hours)



Description:  The purpose of this job is to attend to the day to day operational needs of the department, as it pertains to patient, resident and retail customers.  This position is also responsible for the closing duties of the department.  Conducts quality check of all food production for lunch and dinner.  Assists with special function service.  Maintains department sanitation standards.  Assists with training and orientation of employees.  Provides corrective actions for employees as required.


  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Art or Dietetics.
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years in a high volume institutional or commercial kitchen setting; experience managing union staff preferred.
  • Possess a working knowledge of commercial kitchen customer service, sanitation standards, management of frontline staff, and regulatory requirements.

Description:  To maintain all internal/external structural & mechanical integrity of all Hospital and Nursing Home properties and equipment and to perform facility specific projects and renovations.  This job specifically is intended to attract individuals who have gained a level of mastery in particular trades or technology, essential to the organization meeting its mission.


  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • To achieve goals of the department, possess a level of mastery in one of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical or steel-construction.  Proficiency and licensure to handle HVAC building systems, pesticides and/or a two (2) year degree in building system automation preferred.
  • Possess eight (8) year level of experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or military plant maintenance.  Demonstrates mechanical and electrical ability.
  • Possess experience in health care plant maintenance, with an established understanding of NFPA Life Safety Code 101, NYS-DOH, and DNV requirements for healthcare facilities.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.  Ability to operate and understand power tools, job specific computer operations, electrical meters, electrical switches and circuit panels.  Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.  Ability to perform basic computational skills in order to troubleshoot and estimate material requirements.

Description:  The purpose of the job is to perform a variety of food service duties based on the individual daily task listing of the position to which an employee is assigned.

Description:  The Ambassador is the patient point of contact for Nutritional Services, on their designated unit or area, and supports the department through all aspects of the meal process from patient meal selection, t, transport, delivery and retrieval of completed food patient/resident nourishments & inventories and stock unit kitchens. The Ambassador role is essential to deliver the highest quality patient and resident satisfaction with Nutritional Services.


  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess one (1) to two (2) years working in a customer service setting, preferably in Healthcare and/or Food Service.
  • Possess a working knowledge of therapeutic diets and basic computer skills.

Status:  6:30am – 3:00pm (24 Hours), 6:30am – 7:30pm (24 hours) & Casual



Description:  The purpose of this job is to clean and service the Hospital building interior, move furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the building and perform a variety of housekeeping duties and repetitive tasks to maintain the building complex in a safe, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.


  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Prefer one year environmental services experience in a healthcare setting.

Status:  7:00am – 3:30pm (24 hours) & 3:30pm – 12am, 6pm – 2:30am (24 hours)



Description:  The purpose of this job is to enforce the rules, policies and regulations of the institutions as they relate to employees and other persons.  Patrols the building and grounds of the Hospital and Nursing Home and the Medical Arts building to observe, prevent and report fire, theft, vandalism, accidents or unauthorized entry. 


  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Preferred – Possess an A.A.S. in Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or related field.
  • Possess New York State Security Guard registration.
  • Prefer New York State Emergency Technician.
  • Possess two years experience in a security position or 2 year degree in Criminal Justice or related field.  Must have completed eight (8) hour Security Officer pre-assignment training course.
  •  Prefer prior experience in a healthcare facility.

Description:  The Ward Clerk performs defined clerical and receptionist functions on the nursing unit to provide an organized and efficient atmosphere in which to deliver patient care.


  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  Employee is trained and prepared to provide non-direct care for the age-specific group served on their assigned unit.
  • Preferred – Completed a medical terminology course.  Computer knowledge of Meditech system.  Previous experience as a Ward Clerk or Medical Office Coordinator or equivalent.
  • Possess previous experience in a health care setting.

Description:  The purpose of this job is to provide clerical support for Primary/Specialty Care Services.  Acts as front line contact with patients, both by telephone and in person to provide necessary assistance and handle all communication.  Supports the medical staff and Vice President in the operations of the Primary/Specialty Care Center.  Takes into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs.


  • Possess high school education or equivalent.
  • Possess two (2) or more years experience in a physician’s office or patient care setting.
  • Possess one (1) year prior experience in physician’s office or patient care setting.
  • Possess a working knowledge of medical terminology, physician office practices and Medical Records.
