Non-Clinical Positions


Description: Plans, coordinates, and directs the overall operations of the Engineering and Security Departments.  Also plans and coordinates all building programs for the organization.  Is responsible for the safety and hazard communication programs.

Required:  Bachelor’s Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or related field.  Three years supervisory experience.  Posses a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.  Knowledge of NFPA, Life Safety Codes, Local Building Codes, DNV Standards, NYS Department of Health Guidelines, and OSHA requirements.

Description: Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community outreach activities and grant administration, including, but not limited to the Vitality Plus Senior Membership Program, community education initiatives, health screenings and worksite wellness initiatives.

Requires: Associated degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in medical Social Work or Health Education. Minimum of two (2) years professional & clinical experience working in a community setting.  Excellent organizational and people skills.  Valid driver’s license.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Medical Social Work or Health Education.  Experience with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.

Status: Part time 16; 8:30am – 5:00pm varies



Description: Codes and enters into Medent records utilizing proper assignment of ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding. All surgical in-patient and out-patient records with the correct ICD-9, CPT and modifiers.

Required: HSD/GED.  Successful completion of courses in Anatomy/Physiology, medical terminology and ICD-9 CM/CPT coding.  Minimum of 3 yrs experience in a medical office setting, if not RHIA, RHIT, or CCS credentialed.

Preferred: Possess an AAS degree in Health Information Technology professional designation as a ART, RRA or CCS. Two to three years experience in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding in a medical office if credentialed. Five years experience in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding in a medical office setting if not credentialed.

 Description: Maintains and cares for lawns, gardens, sidewalks, driveways and other outdoor areas throughout various Primary Care sites.  Work inside PCC sites repairing and maintaining doors, windows, walls and other structural parts of buildings.  Will work long and odd hours during winter months removing snow and salting parking and walkway areas at various PCC sites.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent education. Two-year level of experience in commercial, institutional or industrial plant maintenance. Demonstrated mechanical/electrical ability. Possess a working knowledge of National Fire Protection Association life safety order, New York State fire and prevention codes.

Preferred: Five-year level of  experience in health care plant maintenance with an understanding  of carpentry, mechanical and electrical methods and techniques.

Status: Part time 16 hour, varies



Description: Oversees coding staff, code and abstract inpatient/outpatient records utilizing the proper assignment or ICD-9CM and CPT-4 coding. Monitors unbilled reports and quality of documentation.  Trains coders and implements new procedures. Trains and works with physicians and others as needed.

Required: HSD plus RHIA, RHIT or CCS professional designation.  Strong computer skills, a minimum of 2 yrs. exp ICD-9CM and CPT-4  hospital coding. Must have 1yr of supervisory exp.

Preferred:  A minimum of 5 years experience years  ICD-9-CM and CPT-4  hospital coding.  5 years supervisory experience

Status: Full time 40 hour position  from 8am -4:30pm, Monday- Friday.
