Description: Renders professional care diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as case-finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being.

Requires:

  • HSD/GED
  • AAS or diploma from an approved School of Nursing
  • NYS RN License ~ current and valid
  • ACLS certified

Float Pool~  2:45pm – 11:15pm (24hours)

OB~  6:45am-7:15pm (24 hours),  6:45pm – 7:15am (36 hours) (2 positions available)

****There is a $5,000 sign on bonus for the 36 hour 6:45pm – 7:15am positions in Obstetrics with verifiable experience****

ICU/SCU~  2:45pm – 11:15pm (24 hours), 6:45am – 3:15pm & 6:45am – 7:15pm (40 hours), 6:45pm – 7:15am & 10:45pm – 7:15am (40 hours), 2:45pm – 11:15pm & 2:45pm – 3:15am (40 hours)

ECC~  6:45am – 7:15pm (36 hours)

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE – Hospital Units

Description: Renders nursing care to patients within an assigned unit under the clinical supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, and in accordance with hospital/nursing home policies and objectives. Performs a wide variety of patient care services for assigned patients.

Requires:

  • HSD/GED
  • Successful completion/graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse Program
  • NYS LPN License ~ current and valid
  • BLS certified
  • Completion of IV course & blood administration course within 3 months of hire/accepting position

Status: Float Pool ~  2:45pm – 11:15pm (40 hours) &  2:45pm – 11:15pm (24 hours), casual (Varied)

Operating Room – 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours) & 9:00am – 5:30pm (40 hours)

NURSING SUPERVISOR– Hospital Units

Description: Organizes, conducts and directs nursing care programs for all patients. Manages nursing function on assigned shift in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.  Supervises, evaluates, develops and corrects work performance of staff; directs preparation and maintenance of patients’ medical records; ensures inventory standards for medicines, solutions, supplies and equipment; accounts for controlled substances.  Acts as senior administrative officer, overseeing the security and continuation of operations.  Also, acts as a control person in the event of a fire.

Requires:

  • HSD/GED
  • AAS or diploma from an approved School of Nursing
  • NYS RN License ~ current and valid
  • ACLS certified
  • BLS
