MANAGER OF CARE COORDINATION
Description: Experienced RN Case Manager to lead a team focused on ensuring the most appropriate use of medical services and resources for hospitalized patients. Reports to the VP Medical Affairs/ Chief Medical Officer. Responsible for leading a team of RN Case Managers and Social Workers to achievement of organizational goals on measures of appropriate utilization of medical services and resources, for supporting medical staff decision-making that conforms with reimbursement policies on observation status, for oversight of an effective and efficient discharge planning process, for hospital
compliance with federal core measure and value based purchasing programs, and for hands-on involvement in concurrent clinical reviews, core measure abstraction, denial management, patient transfer reviews readmission reviews, Patient Review Instrument completions and other case management duties of the department as needed.
Requirements: RN degree with NYS license, BSN preferred, Masters degree a plus. Experience in case management and/or utilization review in acute care, home care or insurance setting. Supervisory experience preferred with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Should be familiar with commonly accepted medical necessity guideline resources and with managed care industry UR programs required. Prior experience with Meditech EHR information systems a plus.

CLINICAL DATA ANALYST
Description:The Clinical Data Analyst will assist Nathan Littauer Hospital in reaching its strategic goals by fulfilling the reporting requirements of the hospitals Clinical Quality Improvement and Resource Utilization programs. This position reports to the Vice President Medical Affairs/Chief Medical Officer.
Responsible for meeting the reporting needs of the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Financial Officer on metrics related to clinical quality, resource utilization and patient satisfaction, for facilitating organizational compliance with regulatory reporting requirements relate to such metrics, for creating custom reporting capabilities, for supporting data reporting needs of other departments as necessary and for serving on appropriate hospital committees as requested.
Requirements: A minimum of a 2 year college degree and prior data reporting and analysis experience. Health care industry background or experience preferred. Prior experience with Meditech EHR information systems is a plus.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education plus graduation from an approved School of Nursing with AAS or diploma in nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
Status: Full time position: 40 hours 3:45pm - 11:15pm
Part time position: 24 hours 10:45pm - 7:15am

NEW YORK STATE REGISTERED NURSE -OPERATING ROOM
Description:The Operating Room staff nurse is a professional care provider and assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for
a designated time frame in order to provide care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/
instrumentation, and coordination with other health care members.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education plus graduation from an approved School of Nursing with AAS or diploma in nursing. Must have current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic
Life Support (BLS). Must life withing 10 minutes of hospital for call.
Preferred: Operating Room experience

REGISTERED NURSE / CASUAL/JOHNSTOWN SURGERY CENTER
Description: To render professional care diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health problems through such services as case-finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being.
Requirements:Current licensure as a NYS Registered Nurse.
Current BLS &ACLS
Preferred:Prior Operating Room or Recovery Room experience

CASE MANAGER/PATIENT SERVICES/ CASUAL
Description: This position is responsible for the integration and coordination of the Case Management and Resource Utilization Programs.
The Case Manager works in collaborative practice with the physician
and members of the health care team to manage patient care.
Requirements: NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse or possess a degree
in a relevant health field. Experience in acute care and home care
settings and knowledge of insurance company requirements.
Status: Casual to work on an as needed basis.
STAFF PHARMACIST
CASUAL
Description: Our pharmacy is a modern, computerized operation providing a 24 hour unit dose drug distribution, IV additives, chemotherapy, 3 in 1 PTN, nursing home consultation, outpatient prescription services, patient teaching and a clinical pharmacy program.
Requirements: Current New York State Pharmacist Registration.
Preferred: One year of hospital and/or retail pharmacy experience.
Status: Casual status, on an as needed basis.
CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST
$1500.00 Sign-on Bonus
Description: Performs various chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, bacteriologic and other tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Organizes and assesses all work assignments to determine priorities, to segregate test groups and to analyze results. Performs complex laboratory tests according to written protocol. Analyzes, interprets and evaluates the reliability of test results for which he/she is responsible. Exercises independent judgment in the conduct of the clinical laboratory with minimal supervision.
Requirements: Current licensure with NYS as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or with a major in one of the biological or physical sciences with one year of clinical laboratory experience . Must be ASCP certified or eligible.
Preferred: Hospital setting strongly preferred
