Nearly 25,000 people use Nathan Littauer's Emergency Department every year. That's an average of 68 people per day! Our mission is to provide timely medical evaluation and treatment to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have specially trained physicians, nurses and other providers on duty at all times.
In late 2009 and into 2010 Littauer's Emergency Department will undergo a needed expansion and renovation. The footprint will expand by 40% increasing treatment areas from 13 to 21, thus allowing for quicker admission into the department.
