Nearly 25,000 people use Nathan Littauer's Emergency Department every year. That's an average of 68 people per day! Our mission is to provide timely medical evaluation and treatment to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have specially trained physicians, nurses and other providers on duty at all times.
In 2010, Littauer's Emergency Department underwent an extensive expansion and renovation. The footprint expanded by 40% which included an increase in treatment areas from 13 to 21, thus allowing for quicker admission into the department.
