At Nathan Littauer Hospital's ACR-certified Mammography department, we are fortunate to have not only state-of-the-art equipment, but an experienced and caring staff.
Our GE Sonograph equipment assists in the early diagnosis of breast cancer with digital imaging and a "built-in" computer-aided detection system (CAD). This gives our radiologists a second set of eyes when reviewing your images so you can be confident your results are double-checked and accurate. Patients have the option to receive a "soft-pad" exam, for greater comfort during the procedure.
We also offer stereotactic breast biopsies; a less invasive means of diagnosis.
