When You Come to Visit

Things from Home

Please remember to bring the following information with you to the Hospital:
  • Current health insurance information
  • A listing of medications the patient is currently taking
  • The name and phone number of your primary care doctor

For children:
  • Your child's vaccination record
  • Familiar things can help a child who is in the hospital. Families are welcome to bring special toys, movies, photographs, posters, games, books or other items.

Do I need to bring money with me to the hospital?
  • Nathan Littauer Hospital has a gift shop and cafeteria where visitors may purchase food and other necessities.

Can I use my cell phone in the hospital?
  • The use of cellular phones within Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home and its primary care centers is allowed with some restrictions.
  • Upon entering all buildings, cell phones should be set to vibration or silent mode.
  • Photography is not allowed either with cameras or camera phone without a signed release
  • Phone conversations should not be held in waiting rooms or patient care quarters when it will be disruptive to others.
  • Phones must be turned off in examination, treatment, or diagnostic rooms while any procedures or testing is being performed.

  • There is ample free parking in front of Nathan Littauer Hospital.
