When You Come to Visit
Things from Home
Please remember to bring the following information with you to the Hospital:
- Current health insurance information
- A listing of medications the patient is currently taking
- The name and phone number of your primary care doctor
For children:
- Your child's vaccination record
- Familiar things can help a child who is in the hospital. Families are welcome to bring special toys, movies, photographs, posters, games, books or other items.
Do I need to bring money with me to the hospital?
- Nathan Littauer Hospital has a gift shop and cafeteria where visitors may purchase food and other necessities.
Can I use my cell phone in the hospital?
- The use of cellular phones within Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home and its primary care centers is allowed with some restrictions.
- Upon entering all buildings, cell phones should be set to vibration or silent mode.
- Photography is not allowed either with cameras or camera phone without a signed release
- Phone conversations should not be held in waiting rooms or patient care quarters when it will be disruptive to others.
- Phones must be turned off in examination, treatment, or diagnostic rooms while any procedures or testing is being performed.

Where do I park?
- There is ample free parking in front of Nathan Littauer Hospital.
