GLOVERSVILLE, NY – Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home is proud to welcome their new general surgeon, Marianna Dubovksa, MD. Joining Nathan Littauer in July, Dr. Dubovska is excited to join Nathan Littauer surgeons Robert Wasiczko, MD and Nicholas Filippone, MD, FACS, in providing Littauer patients quality surgical services. Dr. Dubovska brings years of medical and surgical expertise to Nathan Littauer.

“We had a strong pool of applicants, but when I saw her CV – I knew she was a perfect fit for our general surgery team,” said Nathan Littauer Vice President of Primary and Specialty Care Services Patrice McMahon. “We’re happy she has joined us. She is already performing well, and we’re happy to engage her with our community.”

Dr. Dubovska obtained her Docotorate degree at the Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy, in Ukraine. Then, Dr. Dubovska received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Completing her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency in Ukraine as well as completing her residency in General Surgery in Bronx, NY. Prior to joining Littauer’s medical staff, she practiced General Surgery at ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca, Wisconsin.

“Dr. Dubovksa is most welcome,” said Nathan Littauer General Surgeon Dr. Robert Wasiczko. “She recently completed her surgical training in New York City, and brings Nathan Littauer new ideas, along with the latest surgical technology and techniques. She is a great addition to our General Surgery team.”

Dr. Dubovska has years of diverse training and expertise in the medical field, having published her work and findings on five separate occasions. She continues to attend student research conferences.

“Everyone is excellent,” said Dr. Dubovska. “I love the community, my patients, and my coworkers. It is the best placed I’ve ever worked. I’m excited to play a part in the community’s health. I want my patients to know I look beyond their diagnosis to help them as a whole with my medical management and surgical skills, and I look forward to serving my patients and their healthcare needs.”
