GLOVERSVILLE, NY – A couple arrived at Nathan Littauer’s Birthing Center, not knowing they would be bringing home a local celebrity – Nathan Littauer’s New Years Baby! Kevin and Vinisha Hilts ended up having Nathan Littauer’s First Baby of the Year for 2023!
Mother; Vinisha Hilts, and Father; Kevin Hilts, were very excited to bring baby girl Aria into the world. “We’re relieved everything went well,” they said. After 18 hours of labor, Aria Stella Hilts was born January 3 at 3:24 p.m. She weighed five pounds and 13 ounces, with a length of 18 inches and a full head of hair, making her the very first baby delivered at Nathan Littauer Hospital for the year 2023.

As tradition, Nathan Littauer’s Auxiliary made a donation to the family of the First Baby of the Year. Littauer’s Auxiliary donated hundreds of dollars in special gifts for little Aria and her parents. “This is something our Auxiliary loves doing every year,” explained Nathan Littauer Auxiliary President Evelyn McSpirit and Nathan Littauer Auxiliary member Frances Mosconi. “It is rewarding to see how excited they get, and how appreciative they are. It’s very special.”
McSpirit and Mosconi presented the gift basket to little Aria and her parents. Inside the gift basket, are: clothes for baby Aria, blankets, pacifiers, and little plush toys. “When you have your baby with us at Nathan Littauer, the Auxiliary is able to do nice things like this for our new parents,” they added.
“We were not expecting something so wonderful,” said dad. “It is a beautiful gesture and we are so thankful. We’re incredibly overwhelmed at the level of support from Nathan Littauer’s Birthing Center. We’re very happy to have had Aria here. Nathan Littauer has a great team and everyone was so nice to us.”
Mom and Dad were ecstatic to bring Aria home, and they are both doing well. Congratulations, Kevin and Vinisha Hilts!
