Listed below are positions that involve direct patient care or are in patient care areas that do not require an RN/LPN license:


Hospital Openings




Description:  Performs and assists with electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests, 24 hour Holter Monitors and electroencephalograms.  Reviews recording for quality and clarity.  Maintains ECG Department equipment, supplies and reports problems to the Supervisor.  Acts as a resource to patient scheduling department when necessary.  All duties are performed taking into account the individual patient’s special physical, mental or age related needs. 


  • High school diploma or equivalent.   Must have basic life support training.
  • Prefer medical training post high school, computer training.
  • Possess American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
  • Requires one (1) year prior experience in ECG.  Six (6) months experience with Stress testing and Holter Monitor hook-up.  Six (6) months experience with EEG and head electrode hook-ups.
  • Working knowledge of all ECG and EEG equipment, advanced computer skills, medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology.

Status:  6:00am – 11:00pm (20 hours) & 6:00am – 2:30pm (40 hours)



Description: This job is responsible for operating Spiral CT imaging System to produce quality cross-sectional Anatomical images.


  • Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology
  • Licensed by the New York State Department of Health
  • ARRT Certification


  • Computerized Tomography Certification

Status:   11:00pm – 7:00am (16 hours)



Description: Performs various patient care activities and related services under the guidance of a Registered Professional Nurse and in accordance with Hospital policies and objectives.

Bathes and assists patients with personal hygiene.  Takes and records patients’ temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure under clinical guidance of Registered Professional Nurse.  Cleans, prepares and stores equipment trays and other supplies.  Serves and collects patient food trays and provides between meal nourishment’s.


  • One (1) year nurse’s aide type training or equivalent

Status: Med/Surg. 10:45 pm – 7:15 am (40 hours), 2:45pm – 11 :15pm (40 hours)  & Casual (Varied)

Float Pool:  10:45pm – 7:15am (40 hours)

SCU: 10:45pm – 7:15am (16 hours)

ECC: 10:45pm – 7:15am (40 hours)



Description: Performs cardiopulmonary evaluations, respiratory therapy treatments, techniques, and educate patients in their treatments.

Requires: Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy/Certificate in Respiratory Technician. Possess a working knowledge of respiratory care equipment, ECG equipment, medical terminology, etc. and 1yr experience as a Respiratory Therapist (recent grads will be considered) in an acute care setting. LICENSURE AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST BY THE NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT AND REGISTRATION BY THE NATIONAL BOARD FOR RESPIRATORY CARE REQUIRED.

Prefers: Possess two (2) to three (3) years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting – six (6) months to one (1) year home care setting.

Status:   6:45am – 3:15pm (2) 6:45am – 7:15pm (2) = (40 hours), 3pm – 11pm (2) 11am – 11pm (2) = (40 hours), 11pm-7am (2) & 7pm-7am (2) = (40 hours) & Casual (Varied)

Description: Performs various chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, bacteriologic and other tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Organizes and assesses all work assignments to determine priorities, to segregate test groups and to analyze results.  Performs complex laboratory tests according to written protocol.

Analyzes, interprets and evaluates the reliability of test results for which he/she is responsible.

Exercises independent judgment in the conduct of the clinical laboratory with minimal supervision.


  • NYS CLT registration/licensure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or with a major in one of the biological or physical sciences
  • One (1) year clinical laboratory experience

Status:   11:00pm – 7:00am (40 hours),  7:00am – 3:30pm (40 hours)

Description:  To perform skilled therapy interventions for a geriatric and rehab population.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Prefer Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Possess York State Physical Therapist license.  Possess CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) certification.


  • One (1) year prior experience
  • Prior Meditech scheduling experience

Status:    Casual to work 6-8 hours on Saturday or Sunday between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm



Description: Performs two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs.

Performs a variety of examinations including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular procedures on patients from infant to geriatrics.


  • Completion of an Ultrasound Training Program or graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Possess one (1) year of experience in Ultrasound Imaging
  • Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to perform Vascular Sonography


  • Possess three to five (3-5) years experience in Ultrasound Imaging
