ENGINEERING PROJECT COORDINATOR

Description:  The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering building development projects of varying size and complexity.  The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities under the direction of the project manager, either the Plant Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering. 

  • Possess A.A.S. Degree in Construction Technology, Construction Management or equivalent experience in construction or public works industries.
  • Prefer completion of Project Management training.
  • Require three (3) years prior experience in contracting or construction setting.  Must be able to function effectively in stressful situations while meeting construction schedules and deadlines.  Requires skill in time management and effective communication.  Experience with plans, specifications and bid procedures.  Proficiency with computers, MS Office and general office equipment.

DEPARTMENT SECRETARY

Description:  The purpose of this job is to support the Laboratory Manager in the coordination of the routine administration duties that are directly related to the Laboratory Department.

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent education and experience in communications.
  • Must be able to type 50 wpm and be proficient in the use of transcription equipment.
  • Requires one (1) year of prior secretarial experience in an office setting, plus familiarity with medical terminology and ability to use a computer and calculator.

Description:  The purpose of this job is to clean and service the Hospital building interior, move furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the building and perform a variety of housekeeping duties and repetitive tasks to maintain the building complex in a safe, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.

SECURITY OFFICER

Description:  The purpose of this job is to enforce the rules, policies and regulations of the institutions as they relate to employees and other persons.  Patrols the building and grounds of the Hospital and Nursing Home and the Medical Arts building to observe, prevent and report fire, theft, vandalism, accidents or unauthorized entry. 

Requires: 

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Preferred – Possess an A.A.S. in Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or related field.
  • Possess New York State Security Guard registration.
  • Prefer New York State Emergency Technician.
  • Possess two years experience in a security position or 2 year degree in Criminal Justice or related field.  Must have completed eight (8) hour Security Officer pre-assignment training course.
  •  Prefer prior experience in a healthcare facility.
