JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this job is to provide strong nursing leadership to the Extended Care Nursing Facility with a well-organized, staffed and trained Department of Nursing which meets the needs of the resident population. Assists the Administrator and has the authority to and acts on their behalf in providing overall day to day management in the absence of the Vice President/ Administrator of the Nursing Home, taking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs. Leads team with best practices to give high quality care.

EDUCATION:  Possess a two (2) year associate’s degree in nursing.

PREFERRED:  Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:  Possess a current New York State Registered Nurse Licensure.

EXPERIENCE: Possess three (3) – five (5) years’ experience in long term care.

SHIFT: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM       |       STATUS: 40 hours (Full-time)

SALARY: $115,000 – $150,000
