Our Birthing Center reflects today’s state-of-the-art patient care with a warm, intimate atmosphere designed for mothers but enjoyed by all. Our unique, family-centric facility includes:

  • Private labor suites with bathroom, shower and hydrotherapy (whirlpool)
  • Comfortable sitting room and family waiting area
  • Private postpartum rooms
  • Practice skin to skin after delivery
  • Overnight accommodations and meals provided for your designated support person
  • Flatscreen TVs
  • 24-hour secured unit (access is limited at discretion of patient)
  • Free Wifi
  • Brahm’s Lullaby played over-head, announcing your baby’s arrival to the whole hospital
  • Evidence-based practice of nationally-recommended protocols
  • Operating room within the Birthing Center
  • Anesthesia support as needed
  • 2 Certified Nurse Midwives, and 4 OBGYN’s
  • Childbirth Education and Breastfeeding Education Classes offered.
  • IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants), Nancy Quinlan RN and Elizabeth Vanier RN available for on-site support and consultations
  • Certified Lactation Counselors on staff
  • Postpartum lactation support and follow-up appointments available
  • Immunization Action Coalition: Hepatitis B Birth Dose Honor Roll
  • Participated in Safe Motherhood Initiative
  • Participating in NYS Obstetric Hemorrhage Project
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring certified providers and nurses on staff
  • Recipient of the IBCLC Care Award for the past 3½ years
  • Designated Milk Depot for breast milk donors
