The population served includes adult, geriatric residents. Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Social Work is responsible for the supervision of social work services within the facility. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.Possess an Associate’s of Arts Degree in Humanities & Social Services.Prefer Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or University in Social Work or Gerontology. Holds a Master’s Degree in social work or is a Certified Social Worker and has pertinent experience in a healthcare setting; experience with geriatric population preferred.Possess a New York State Drivers License. Certified NYS Screener or obtains certificate within the first month of employment.Possess experience in long-term care and/or healthcare.Prefer experience in geriatric long-term care.Status: 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours) Hours will fluctuate depending on departmental needs.
