Registered Respiratory Therapist Cardiovascular/Pulmonary RehabDescription: The purpose of this job is to perform cardiopulmonary evaluations, respiratory therapy treatments, techniques and education of the patient and to perform and coordinate the Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab Program taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age related needs.Associates in Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent study meeting NBRC requirements for Registered Respiratory Therapy credential.Prefer COPD educator, Asthma Educator, Cardiac Rehab Specialist, Exercise Physiologist and Glucose Monitoring Certification.Current license from the New York State Education Department and certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).Possess one (1) year experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting and Pulmonary Rehab.Prefer two (2) to three (3) years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting and two (2) years Pulmonary Rehab. American Heart Association ACLS certified.Status: 7:00am – 3:30pm (40 hours)From: $30.75 to $39.97 per hour.
Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist****There is a $15,000 sign on bonus for full time Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist****Description: The purpose of this job is to perform Echocardiography and vascular ultrasound examinations utilizing equipment to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of an Ultrasound training program.Prefer an Associate’s degree from an approved AMA program in Ultrasound Technology.Possess certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Possess an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.Possess one (1) year of experience in Vascular, Cardiac and Carotid.Prefer two (2) years experience in Vascular, Cardiac and Carotid.Status: 6:45am – 3:15pm (40 hours)From: $36.72 – $47.21 hour.
