EMR/EHR Specialist PCC

Description:  The purpose of this position is to provide EMR staff who will be directly involved in the needs assessment, analysis and build of current/future workflows that support the maintenance of the Expanse implementation to Primary/Specialty Care Center setting.  The position will support front office function, interface with providers and clinical staff and work with the ambulatory informatics staff to maintain, build or rebuild sectors of Expanse for greater efficiency and quality.  The position provides ongoing monitoring and training of all PCC contributors of the medical record in compliance with New York State Department of Health, DNV, MLMIC Standards and NYS PCMH. 

Requires:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  
  • Prefer a two (2) year degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field. 
  • Possess two (2) years experience in an ambulatory provider practice setting.  Familiar with the front end processes of Expanse, use of lists to support front end and registration process.  Possess a working knowledge of Expanse and Expanse applications and interfaces.  

Status:  8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours)  Hours will fluctuate based on departmental needs.  

$24.22 to $27.22 per hour.  

PCC EMR File/Scanning Clerk

Description:  The purpose of this job is to maintain the patient electronic health record and other files as needed at the Primary Care Centers.  Assists receptionist staff, office coordinators and practice administration with general office duties as assigned. 

Requires:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent education. 
  • Possess six (6) months experience in general clerical work in a healthcare setting. 
  • Prefer one (1) year experience in a Physician office setting. 
  • Possess a working knowledge alphabetizing, medical terminology, medical chart structure and computers. 

Status:  8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours) 

$15.78 to $18.78 per hour.  

Radiology Office Representative

Description:  The purpose of this job is to provide services that maintain the proper flow of patients, records and communication in the Diagnostic Imaging Department taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs. 

Required:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Prefer and Associate’s degree from an accredited college.
  • No prior experience required. 
  • Prefer one (1) year office experience. 
  • Knowledge of office procedures with the ability to type 35 words per minute.

Status:  11:00am – 7:30pm (40 hours)

From:  $15.78 to $18.78 per hour.  

Patient Care Technician

***There is a $5,000 sign on bonus for full time Patient Care Technician and a $2,500 sign on bonus for part time Patient Care Technicians***

Description:  The PCT provides basic nursing care to patients within the hospital and monitors a safe and clean environment.  The PCT position provides clerical support, including order entry as the patient care and patient flow requires.  

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification within six (6) months of hire, three (3) months for ECC and Float Pool positions. 
  • One (1) year experience as an ER or SCU nurse assistant, Maternity nurse assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. 
  • Prefer Emergency department experience, Critical Care experience, EMT experience, medical office assistant training. 

Status:  6:45am – 7:15pm (36 hours) ECC

$16.95 per hour.  Experience differential after one year of service.  

Patient Care Technician

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification within six (6) months of hire, three (3) months for ECC and Float Pool positions. 
  • One (1) year experience as an ER or SCU nurse assistant, Maternity nurse assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. 
  • Prefer Emergency department experience, Critical Care experience, EMT experience, medical office assistant training. 

Status:  6:45pm – 7:15am (24 hours) SCU

$16.95 per hour.  Experience differential after one year of service.
