IPA/Navigator Program Manager JOB TITLE: MANAGER IPA/NAVIGATOR PROGRAM JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this job is to facilitate the development, implementation and coordination of the Hospitals participation in the NYS Health Benefit Exchange: In Person Assistors and Navigators grant project EDUCATION: Possess a High School diploma or equivalency. PREFERRED: Possess an associate’s degree in a Healthcare Human Services field. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Possess Licensure/Certification/Registration from the NYSDOH within 2 months of hire. EXPERIENCE: Possess experience in program planning, demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals and groups. Demonstrated public speaking/presentation/teaching abilities and demonstrated interviewing skills. PREFERRED: Possess two (2) years’ experience in Social Services or health related field involving program planning and public speaking with supervision experience. IPA/Navigator JOB TITLE: IPA/Navigator | DEPARTMENT: Facilitated Enrollment JOB DESCRIPTION: The purpose/goal of our program is to educate and assist individuals in a fair, accurate, impartial and linguistically appropriate manner to enroll and recertify individuals online in the New York State of Health Insurance Marketplace. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Currently possess or ability to obtain licensure/certification from NYSDOH within two (2) months of transfer or hire. Possess a valid NYS driver’s license. Proficient working in a Microsoft Office environment including Excel. Ability to conduct research with attention to details.
