Nursing Supervisor – SNF**SIGN-ON BONUS OF $15,000.00**DEPARTMENT: Nursing Administration – Nursing Home / Extended Care FacilityJOB PURPOSE: The purpose of The Nursing Supervisor job is to coordinate the activities of the resident care units. The Nursing Supervisor assists the clinical coordinator in departmental staffing on a daily basis, maintains approved standards of resident care within the Department of Nursing taking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs, and the investigation, and resolution, of complaints. The Nursing Supervisor has responsibility for the operation of the entire Nursing Home in the absence of Administration with the support of the designated Director of Nursing on call. Work is performed in accordance with established Nursing home standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital and nursing department. EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with associate’s degree or diploma. PhlebotomistDescription: Obtains blood samples from patients for laboratory analysis using accepted clinical methods, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical, mental or age-related needs and performs processing of specimens. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.Prefer a two year degree from an accredited college.Prefer Phlebotomy certification.Possess one (1) month experience in the drawing of the blood samples from clinical patients. This does not include on-the-job training.Prefer six (6) months experience in the drawing of blood samples from clinical patients. Patient Care Technician***There is a $5,000 sign on bonus for full time Patient Care Technician and a $2,500 sign on bonus for part time Patient Care Technician***Description: The PCT position provides basic nursing care to patients, transports patients within the hospital and monitors a safe and clean environment. The PCT provides clerical support, including order entry as the patient care and patient flow requires. High school diploma or equivalent.Basic life support (BLS) certification within six (6) months of hire, three (3) months for ECC and Float Pool positions. One (1) year experience as an ER or SCU nurse assistant, Maternity nurse assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Prefer Emergency department experience, Critical Care experience, EMT experience, medical office assistant training. Status: 6:45pm – 7:15am (24 hours) SCU$17.02 per hour. Experience differential after one year of service.
