The Nursing Supervisor assists the clinical coordinator in departmental staffing on a daily basis, maintains approved standards of resident care within the Department of Nursing taking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs, and the investigation, and resolution, of complaints. The Nursing Supervisor has responsibility for the operation of the entire Nursing Home in the absence of Administration with the support of the designated Director of Nursing on call. Work is performed in accordance with established Nursing home standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital and nursing department. EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with associate’s degree or diploma.
