The limits of the Licensed Practical Nurse II responsibility is defined by hospital policy in keeping with the New York State Code, Rules and Regulations and the NYS Education Department.High school diploma or equivalent.Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or completion of required components to satisfy LPN licensing examination.Employee is trained and prepared to care for the age-specific group served on their assigned unit.Possess current NYS license for Licensed Practical Nurse. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first six (6) months of hire. PhlebotomistDescription: Obtains blood samples from patients for laboratory analysis using accepted clinical methods, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical, mental or age-related needs and performs processing of specimens. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.Prefer a two year degree from an accredited college.Prefer Phlebotomy certification.Possess one (1) month experience in the drawing of the blood samples from clinical patients. This does not include on-the-job training.Prefer six (6) months experience in the drawing of blood samples from clinical patients. Diagnostic Imaging AssistantDescription: The purpose of this job is to transport patients to and from Imaging, answer telephones and to assist staff Technologists in various ways to complete Radiographic examination taking into account the individual patient’s special, physical and age-related needs.Possess high school diploma or equivalent.Prefer prior Radiology experience, prior patient care experience and HIS experience.Status: 6:00am – 11:15pm – Varied (16 hours)$15.40 per hour.
