The purpose of this job is to compound and dispense pharmaceuticals and perform all pharmaceutical functions necessary to provide the hospital and nursing home with modern pharmaceutical practices which include unit dose, drug distribution, drug information, outpatient prescription dispensing and patient education taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs under the supervision of a Pharmacist.

EDUCATION: Completed first professional year of Pharmacy School.

REQUIRED: Possess a New York State Pharmacy Intern license.

HOURS: Casual – scheduled between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pharmacist

Description:  The purpose of this job is to compound and dispense pharmaceuticals and perform all pharmaceutical functions necessary to provide the Hospital and Nursing Home with modern pharmaceutical practices which include unit dose drug distribution, controlled substance distribution, drug information, outpatient prescription dispensing and patient education, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs.

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • Possess a New York State Pharmacist license and current New York State Pharmacist Registration.
  • Prefer one (1) year of hospital and/or retail pharmacy experience.

Status:  Casual

From:  $43.08 to $64.62 per hour.
