Patient Access RepresentativeDescription: The purpose of this job is to perform all aspects of patient intake from scheduling appointments, insurance verification, pre-registration, pre-certification, medical necessity verification and copay/deductible collection.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.Prefer one (1) or two (2) years of college with completion of an approved program in medical terminology.Possess previous experience in health care delivery system with exposure to patient registration.Prefer prior experience with patient scheduling or unit coordinator. Knowledge of third party payors desired.Status: 9:30am – 6:00pm (40 hours)
