Nurse Manager – Nursing HomeDescription: The Nurse Manager is the first line manager designated as the leader for a specified nursing unit, its resident population and the assigned staff. The Nurse Manager has 24 hour responsibility and accountability for all resident care activities taking into account the individual resident’s special physical or age-related needs. Requires:Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree or diploma. Prefer Bachelor of Science Nursing degree. Current NYS license for Registered Professional Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Two (2) years of medical/surgical experience or two (2) years of long term care experience. Prefer two (2) years of Nursing management experience in a skilled nursing facility. Status: 6:45am – 3:15pm (40 hours)Rate of Pay: $36.78 – $ /hour – Compensation for this position is based on individual skill set, experience, and qualifications.

Cleans, prepares and stores equipment trays and other supplies. Serves and collects patients’ food trays and provides between meal nourishments.
