Laboratory Supervisor****There is a $15,000 sign on bonus for full time Laboratory Supervisor****Description: Supervise the overall operation of daily activities in the department including the clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology. Requires: Current registration certificate for licensure with New York State Education Department as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT). Prefer BSMT/ASCP.Six (6) years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience subsequent to qualifying as a clinical laboratory technologist. The Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be able to perform all duties of a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. In addition, the Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for technical aspects of the department including: ensuring regulatory compliance, computer file maintenance, writing procedures, review of quality control results, maintaining instrumentation. The Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist will utilize technical expertise and leadership qualities to aid in problem solving within the department. The Lead Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be able to oversee operations of the department independently, on a day to day basis.
