Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Licensed Practical NurseJOB PURPOSE: The Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Licensed Practical Nurse performs a variety of duties as a member of the surgical team during the patient’s surgical intervention. EDUCATION: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education. Successful completion of an accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist and/or Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or completion of required components to satisfy LPN licensing examination. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: New York State Surgical Technologist Certification and/or Valid New York State registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
