Job Title: Facilities Engineering Intern

Job Description: We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Facilities Engineering team as an intern. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing hospital facilities, including both indoor and outdoor areas. You will learn about space utilization, upkeep of hospital infrastructure, and the role of facilities management in ensuring a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance and operations of hospital facilities.
• Support space utilization assessments and optimization of hospital spaces.
• Participate in daily upkeep of outdoor areas, including lawns, gardens, and sidewalks.
• Operate outdoor landscaping and maintenance equipment.
• Gain exposure to systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure facility and grounds efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Interest in facilities management, healthcare engineering, and general landscaping.
• Ability to operate lawn care and outdoor maintenance equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently or in a team.

This internship offers valuable exposure to facilities management, both indoors and outdoors, within a healthcare setting.

Position is Casual with a rate of pay of $16.74
