Gloversville, NY — Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home has submitted a New York State Department of Health closure plan for a Primary/Specialty Care Center located at 110 Decker Drive in Johnstown, NY. Littauer currently has two primary care centers in Johnstown, which are 2.5 miles apart. An independent health equity study conducted in 2025 confirmed that Decker Drive is secluded, located outside the city center, and has limited street visibility and public transportation availability.

Littauer’s plan to close Decker Drive and consolidate Johnstown practices at the Perry Street location will increase patient access and allow for an expanded scope of practice. All providers who previously practiced at Decker Drive have been transitioned to Perry Street.
