The American Red Cross declared its second-ever national blood supply crisis in late July after blood donations fell to a four-year summer low, creating significant pressure on the availability of lifesaving blood products for hospitals and patients across the country. Nathan Littauer is encouraging eligible community members and employees throughout the region to consider donating to help strengthen the blood supply.“Giving blood is a simple act that can make an incredible difference for someone in need,” said Nathan Littauer Auxiliary Volunteer Member Jo-Ann Clear. “Our Auxiliary is proud to support this blood drive and help bring our community together for such an important cause.
