JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant  |  DEPARTMENT: Administration

PURPOSE: The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO, CFO, and CIO and Board of Directors. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the senior management team; organizes and coordinates executive meeting and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and goal oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Communicates with Hospital departments, Medical Staff, health care and community agencies and members of the community. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to think proactively and respond quickly and efficiently and must possess strong administrative, written and verbal communications, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize projects and the needs of the organization while handling multiple priorities and highly sensitive and confidential information with the upmost discretion and composure.

EDUCATION:  Possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience.

PREFERRED: 

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in business/healthcare administration with some clinical background.
  • Possess prior experience as an Executive Assistant in an Administrative setting of a hospital. 

EXPERIENCE: Possess three (3) years of experience as an Executive Assistant.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:  Current commission as a Notary Public in New York State.           

STATUS: (Full-time) 40 hours  

SHIFT: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

RATE OF PAY: $28.32 – $35.40 / HOUR

Practice Administrator

JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to have operational and strategic responsibility for the primary care and specialty provider practices at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, including the planning, program development, recruitment, retention and leadership activities required to make the service a success clinically, financially and operationally.

EDUCATION:  Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Administration or related field. 

PREFERRED: Master’s Degree

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:  None

EXPERIENCE:  Minimum five (5) years of experience in healthcare administration.  Practice Management leadership experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE: Possess a working knowledge of operations of a primary care service; cost accounting; quality assurance and program development; health care industry; third party reimbursement and managed care.  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.  Knowledge of practice revenue cycle.  Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.  Proficiency in using healthcare information systems and technology. 

SHIFT: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM     STATUS: 40 hours (full-time)
