Nursing SupervisorDescription: The purpose of the Nursing Supervisor job is to coordinate the activities of the patient care units in a centralized nursing environment. The Nursing Supervisor assists the Nurse Managers in departmental staffing on a daily basis, maintains approved standards of patient care within the Division of Nursing taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs, investigates and resolves complaints and maintains a safe environment for staff and patients. The Nursing Supervisor has responsibility for the operation of the entire hospital in the absence of Department Heads and Administration with the support of the designated “Administrator-on-call”.Requires:High school diploma or equivalent.Graduate from an accredited nursing program with Associate’s degree or diploma. Laboratory Supervisor****There is a $15,000 sign on bonus for full time Laboratory Supervisor****Description: Supervise the overall operation of daily activities in the department including the clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology. Requires: Current registration certificate for licensure with New York State Education Department as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT). Prefer BSMT/ASCP.Six (6) years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience subsequent to qualifying as a clinical laboratory technologist. The laboratory supervisor must meet this and/or other requirements listed under section 58-1.4 of NYSDOH SubPart 58-1 for clinical laboratories. Status: 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours)
