Description:  Perform a variety of duties as a member of the Gastroenterology Practice and Endoscopy team to facilitate the patient’s plan of care.  Work is performed under the guidance of a physician/licensed provider in accordance with established Gastroenterology and Endoscopy standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Practice.  

Required:

• High school education or equivalent. 
• BLS certification.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Two (2) years experience in a physician’s practice with full EMR and two (2) years of previous experience of an Endoscopy Suite or Ambulatory Surgery setting.  
• Vital signs, lab tests, MEDENT and MEDITECH experience. 
• Prefer Medical Assistant experience.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English strongly preferred.  

Status:  8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours)

$18.25 per hour.  Experience differential after one year of service.
