The Nursing Supervisor assists the Nurse Managers in departmental staffing on a daily basis, maintains approved standards of patient care within the Division of Nursing taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs, investigates and resolves complaints and maintains a safe environment for staff and patients. The Nursing Supervisor has responsibility for the operation of the entire hospital in the absence of Department Heads and Administration with the support of the designated “Administrator-on-call”.Requires:High school diploma or equivalent.Graduate from an accredited nursing program with Associate’s degree or diploma.
