GLOVERSVILLE, NY — For patients in Fulton, Montgomery, and the surrounding counties, access to endocrinology services has required traveling to distant urban medical centers. By bringing a highly-skilled specialist directly to the community, Nathan Littauer is helping patients receive advanced, personalized treatment closer to home.

The new service line will officially launch in September 2025 with the arrival of Board-Certified Endocrinologist Sowmya Chandra-Reddy, MD, who will practice at Nathan Littauer’s Amsterdam Primary/Specialty Care Center.

Endocrinology covers a broad spectrum of chronic and complex health conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and other hormonal imbalances – conditions often require ongoing management, making local access critical.
