Thanksgiving Dinner

Littauer’s General Manager of Nutrition Service, Scott Norris, said the holidays prove to be an especially busy time for his department, but he finds his staff is happy and excited by the challenge.
The season kicked-off in November with Thanksgiving as Norris and staff preparing approximately 100 pounds of turkey, 160 pounds of potatoes, 80 pounds of green beans and baby carrots each, 100 pounds of sweet potatoes, and countless servings of fresh stuffing. Over 325 meals were served at Littauer on Thanksgiving Day 2015.
In addition to hospital patients and staff, the 84 resident Nathan Littauer Nursing Home was full to capacity and hosted a special Thanksgiving dinner. Over 30 addition family members joined their loved-ones for Littauer’s special dinner.
