PET/CT Scans

PET ScanPositron Emission Tomography (PET) in combination with Computed Tomography (CT) provides a thorough internal map of the body along with detailed information on organ function. PET/CT is often used to:

  • Accurately diagnose and stage a variety of diseases (cancers and dementia)
  • Help determine the extent and progression of disease
  • Monitor a patient’s response to therapy
  • Guide choices related to future treatment plans
